Collets

Collets are highly useful in metalworking for holding slender material securely for end mills, milling machines and more. Busy Bee Tools carries an assortment of sturdy, high-grade steel collets and collet kits, in various sizes. Choose individual collets when you only need a specific size. We carry R8, 5C and MT3 collets.

R8 collets are internally threaded for mills, including end mills and milling machines. Our selection includes:

• ½ inch end mill collet
• ¼ inch milling machine collet
• 5/8-inch collet

5C collets are externally threaded for lathes and primarily used to hold work in place. You may need a 5C collet fixture to use with these collets.

• ¾ inch lathe collet
• 9/16 inchlathe collet
• ¼ inch collet
