Drill Bit Sharpening Kit - Drill Doctor
This drill bit sharpener is designed for durability and has the flexibility
required sharpening the largest range of dull or broken bits-including split
points and masonry bits. With this tool you can sharp bits from 3/32" to 3/4".
It features long jaws that hold bit firmly and jaw guides eliminate jaw
twisting on small bits. The new "Push to Stop" design on the drill point
splitting port does not allow to over split the bit point. The user
replaceable diamond sharpening wheel is for simple replacement and the
adjustable material take-off allows user to change the amount of bit material
that can be removed to further extend the life of your bit. It features cast
aluminum point angle shuttle for added durability. The motor produces
consistent power regardless of speed or load to sharpen high speed steel,
Carbide, Cobalt, Titanium Coated and masonry bits. You can sharpen your tools
in any angle; 115 degrees to 140 degrees.

It took a instructional video for me to grasp the functionality of this tool, but after the viewing I was up and running. Very quick and easy to use. Wish it was a bit less expensive . Recommended.

Drill Dr 750X
I drill a lot of mild steel in my workshop. It is expensive to replace bits, and nice to have a quick and easy way to sharpen them when they become dull. This sharpener works well and I am happy I bought it.

All I can say is I should have gotten this tool sooner. I haven't used it a lot yet, but have sharpened some dulled Cobalt drill bits that I would have otherwise thrown out, but now they have new life to keep drilling steel. I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars on the rating because the bits I sharpened weren't quite as good at drilling as factory sharpened bits, but I think with some practice and learning the tool's quirks my sharpening will probably improve. Either way, it made garbage bits good again which is pretty great.

I have sharpened only about a dozen bits to date but pleased with simplicity of use and precision of finished edge

A mature product that does what it is supposed to do well. More graduations on the primary angle setting would be good.

Best product for the price
Do not waste your time trying to follow the manual . There are some excellent 'how to's ' on youtube . Be sure to watch more than one video . Some videos do not give a solid portrayal of certain features .
