I have had this unit for a little over 2 years now and pushed a lot of aluminum through it on a weekly basis. Only issue I have had was a stripped gear, however a simple $9.99 fix. BB sells the spares, I would suggest spare fuses and a spare CT133-138 gear.
Overall, love this unit for small work, will be adding a second larger unit very soon. Will stick with BB for the next machine.

Needed extensive rework of some parts.
Speed control varies while in use.
Down feed fell apart in shipping .
BUY CANADIAN IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION.

I am a journeyman machinist, I bought this for my garage for personal hobby work and small side jobs of the sort.
I love this machine. After setting it up to my liking and adding a dro, this little mill has been responsible for some very nice accurate parts sitting around the world.
I have been able to take .100" depth of cuts in aluminum with busy bee's 2" face mill, I have even buried a 3/4" fine roughing end mill 1" deep in aluminum to rough out a part and to see if it could take it.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a cheap machine, but still a good machine in stock form. To gain its full potential it does need some work.
