use of a half nut allows the threaded shaft to be repositioned infinitely over
the range of the press. A simple press of a button releases the nut so the
threaded shaft can be moved. Release the button and the nut engages making the
press ready for the next push. Fine adjustment is available by turning the
adjusting knob.
