It took a lot for me to sell my DeWalt 735 planer, but I really needed to upgrade to a stand alone unit. Decided on the CX15 after comparing the General 15", King 15" and the GRizzly. The only unit that came close in price was the Grizzly and the units look the same. By the time I added the shipping and duties it was pretty much the same price. Busy bee is not that far so warranty and any other issues (which I hope i dont have to worry about)are much easier than dealijng with across the border.
So far Ive put about 60 or so hours on this unit and my brother has put about 20. It runs very smooth and there havent really been any issues other than the locking mechanism on the base getting jammed once, but it was an easy fix.
I would recommend this, so would my brother.
