Wood vice
Not a bad vice, poor casting and inconsistent hole placing are an issue though.

It works, but quality is not great
The price of this vise is very low and this is what prompted me to buy it. On the positive side, it works and does what it is supposed to. It clamps things into place securely so you can work on them. From that perspective, I cannot complain. However, the machining on the vise is not great so that you feel increasing and decreasing resistance as you turn the handle. I suspect the threaded rod is not perfectly aligned or round. There is no quick release, which reduces convenience but this is part of the reason the price is so low, so no real complaint there. The other issue is no pop-up tab (or whatever it is called) on the movable jaw. This reduces the versatility of the vise. I have been using this successfully for 6 months now, but wish I had spent more on a better vise. Still, this thing is infinitely better than no vise!
