excellent value!
i purchased all 3 sizes of this DRO and installed them on my manual milling machine. very happy with the results. the readouts are sensitive to any movement of the table or column, and if i dont clamp one of the axis and machine starts to drift, i can see it clearly on the readout. the readout also "remembers" where it is, even if turned off and you traverse the table. excellent value for the money.

Very good scale
I purchased this scale as well as a 12 inch one for use for use on my milling machine table. They work well, and are good value. (Too bad I missed I buying on sale. :-( )

Great for my needs
The display is larger than the one shown and that is a great surprise. I installed it on my South Bend lathe for the Z axis. The accuracy seem to be fine for this purpose. When more accuracy is required a dial indicator is added to the lathe.

Well worth the money
These are way cheaper than most of the others that I have seen. And very accurate. No more fumbling with dials and accounting for backlash. Busy Bee is marketing them for use on router tables and such, but they are quite suitable for use on a mill or lathe.

Excellent value
I purchased the 24", 12" and 6" units and transformed my 25 year old 1 1/2 hp mill/drill into a very accurate machine. I had contemplated doing this 12 months ago at a cost of over $450.00 from an off shore supplier.
