Decent tool
I have this tool for my CX701 lathe. The tool itself is put together nicely, I've cut a lot of material with it in the last couple days. A word of warning if you plan to use it with the CX701 though, the tip of the blade is 0.1" above the center of the machine. It still works if you are just using it to cut recesses, but becomes ineffective if cutting to a diameter below 0.625". I solved this problem by measuring the distance above center and milling this much off the bottom of the holder, now it is guaranteed to cut to the center each time.
