    My "go to" biscuit joiner

Posted by Drapak on 11th Jun 2014

This is the model that I use at home, and that I use when teaching joinery to my students. It is a little intimidating at first for some people because of all the adjustments available. However, it is built very well and produces great hidden joints very quickly. My students and I do destructive testing on the joints we learn, and there are stronger joints out there, but biscuit joints provide very good bang for the effort. The next step up is by the company that invented biscuit joining in the first place, but I believe this machine is better value. I agree with the dust collector comments, though. I prefer to hook mine up to a 2 1/2" shop vac in order to draw the chips out.

This is a solid unit, much better than the last crappy tire unit I had. It has worked to perfection without any slipups, I would recommened this unit to friends or family.
