Table Saw 101

Table Saw 101: The table saw can be an intimidating tool. However, with the proper setup, correct blade selection and simple jigs it can be turned into a very efficient and versatile power tool in your shop. Spend a few hours in our shop learning the ins and outs of this core power tool to become more proficient and safe in its use. Topics will include setup, proper and safe ripping, making a crosscutting sled and taper cuts amongst other things.

Refreshments: All seminars include beverages (coffee and water). There will be a lunch break around noon. Please feel free to bring your own lunch or visit the Tim Horton’s/Wendy’s at the end of the Street during the lunch break.
Requirements to participate:
Participants must be 18 years or older and must sign a waiver before the class starts (on the day of).
Participants must wear shoes that cover toes (sandals not permitted). Please refrain from wearing loose fitting jewelry.
