Woodturning 101: Experience the fun and addictive process of woodturning! This seminar will immerse you into wood lathe safety, terminology, and techniques in operation. Learn the processes behind preparing and completing a faceplate turning- from mounting the bowl blank; using wood lathe chisels; sanding, buffing, and finishing. Get the shavings flying, and let’s have some fun making a small bowl out of Black Walnut wood. No prior woodworking experience required.

Requirements to participate:
Participants must be 18 years or older and must sign a waiver before the class starts (on the day of).
Participants must wear shoes that cover toes (sandals not permitted). Please refrain from wearing loose fitting jewelry.
