About Woodworking 101: Having a good understanding of the basics of woodworking will allow you to move forward with everything from simple projects to furniture design and building. In this hands-on seminar, you will be shown the proper and safe use of the core woodworking power tools. You will take a rough piece of wood and mill it using the jointer, thickness planer, table saw and bandsaw. Other topics covered will include adhesives, basic tool sets, workbenches and clamping techniques to name a few. So bring your questions and spend a day in our shop learning the fundamentals of this amazing hobby.

Requirements to participate:
Participants must be 18 years or older and must sign a waiver before the class starts (on the day of).
Participants must wear shoes that cover toes (sandals not permitted). Please refrain from wearing loose fitting jewelry.
