As part of the growing line of Craftex CX-Series woodworking equipment, we are proud to offer the CX424 a 1.5-HP Dust Collector. This single-stage dust collector is outfitted with a powerful 1.5 HP 120V single-phase motor that drives a 10" steel impeller creating a strong airflow of 950 CFM. This machine will handle any machine in your shop from a drum sander to the most demanding machines like the Jointers and Thickness Planers with ease. The CX424 is equipped with a "Y" that goes from 5" into 2 x 4" dust ports to allow for connectivity of multiple machines. The 1 Micron top filter will help keep the air in your shop clear of all dust particles larger than one micron. The convenient collection bag will hold up to 0.5 cubic meters of sawdust. All of our CX-Series machines are backed by our 3-year warranty.
This canister featured in this combo has a V-Weave filter design and the pleated filter material area is increased over 6 times when compared to standard cloth bags.
Compared to standard filter bags Keeping the filter clean is a breeze. Since you are no longer required to remove the filter bag, turn it upside down and shake out the dust sending thousands of fine dust particles airborne. You simply turn the handle located at the top of the canister to rotate the internal flapper and clean any dust that is lodged in the pleats. Caked-on dust simply falls into the lower collector bag. Dust disposal is now easier, healthier, and more efficient with less work and maintenance with the 1-micron canister.
