Dust collection cyclone cover
Will not stay on bucket, keep poping out, will not recommend

Not Impressed
At best it collects about 60%, and the 40% that gets to the vac is the fine dust which clogs the filter quickly. I'll try the dust deputy next. Better reviews on that. Hopefully it'll live up to the reviews.

Mine works fine.
I have mine for over a year and it works fine. It's hooked to a 60 L Craftsman vac and the bucket collects most of the dust. At this price, according to me it's good cost/quality ratio.

Not very effective
I'm relatively new to dust collection systems and gave this product a try since the price was right compared to most cyclones I could find. You'll get what you pay for with this product. I would estimate about 10-15% of dust gets through to your shop vacuum, which doesn't sound like much but most "good" cyclone systems appear to be around 99% effective. Also, the combination of the hose having to bend downward into the inlet and the 90 degree elbow attached to the inside of the inlet seems to be a cause for clogging.

Doesn't work with Ridgid shopvacs
The 2 1/2 " ridgid shopvac hoses do not fit into the opening on the lid. The hole is just a bit too small.
