A Great Improvement
I was using the usual shop vac with a homemade cyclone but the noise level was over 100db. So I decided to get this one and give it a try. What an improvement! It is relatively easy to assemble. Watched a few YouTube videos… I also added the canister filter. y only issue which is a common one is that the “spiders” or metal strips at the intact causes issues when using a planner. The shavings pile up and block the intact. The solution is to cut off the teals strips at the risk of sucking in a larger item and damaging the impellers or fans blades (not sure of the correct term). Yes this will void the warranty this mod causes damage. For a small shop and you don’t want to attach multiple pieces of equipment at the same tie this in my opinion is a great choice.

Great for a small shop
This DC is a definite move up from a noisy shop vac. For that alone it is worth it. It was relatively easy to assemble. As mentioned the instruction manual is adequate but at time confusing. Like others the bottom bag is not that difficult to install IF you watch the various videos on YouTube and do the tape trick to hold the plastic bag while you get the metal strap on. As for the top cloth bag I had a hard time finding the 2 openings to feed the strap through. But once found and taking my time it was no problem. Finally like many, if you use a hand planer the shavings did clump up and eventually blocked the hose. So I will be do the hack with the hack saw. I am not sure if it is suppose to blow air from around the motor housing but it is. However it seems to be working ok… Eventually I will probably upgrade to canister filter to replace the top cloth bag. Overall I recommend this for a small shop.

Fonctionne bien, aspiration suffisante pour 1 appareil, pas trop bruyant, bon rapport qualite/prix.

Dust collecter
Seems to work well on saws. Not sure about on a plane or Edge yet!

Dust collector
This is my 2nd DC of this model to replace my old one of 14 years which still worked but had become very noisy. The new one works great and much quieter. I have a one person shop, so with only one machine in use at a time vacuuming my shop, this is an excellent tool.

Dust collector
Fantastic product, works great. Only thing I would do is make the power cord longer but it’s still a 5 star imo.

Dust collector
Work’s good except switch quit after using it maybe 6 times. Not happy to have problems so quickly with a new machine
