Good news, bad news
I bought this trimmer to add to my growing inventory of dewalt cordless tools. Battery homogeneity is a good thing and this trimmer does 3-4 rounds of the yard on a charge. However it is heavier than most trimmers and not balanced well so I use my arms more. Also the angle of the cutting head means it scalps the grass more if the user is tall. Good construction, poor ergonomics.

I think I received a dud. BB were great!
I bought one of these with the free shipping and used it 3 time. It stopped working. Busy Bee were great as the online customer service directed me to the local store where they took it back within the Dewalt 90 day satisfaction guarantee window. I have many 20V Dewalt tools but I don't think the trimmer is ready for battery operation yet. Mine stopped working and would only turn ~ 1 degree when pulling the trigger. This was only after 3 uses and it still had the small quantity of string that came from the factory.

Great Trimmer!
First trimmer I've ever used, and first order from Busy Bee Tools. Highly recommend. Super light and i love that it folds for storage. I may need a stronger battery (I've only got the compact 20v) as it only lasted about 15 mins or so but I mixed and matched with the high/low settings. Easy to use and easy to change the string, was a little harder to figure out how to make the string longer - but I got there in the end lol.
