Good price, excellent finish, but brittle inserts
These tools are quite well-made for the cost, and leave an excellent surface finish on both aluminum and cold-rolled mild steel, but the inserts are the most brittle I have ever seen. A single pit in a bar of 1-3/4" cold rolled steel was enough to chip the insert and subsequently produce a poor finish quality. The cost of replacement inserts is a few dollars more than the more common TCMT (triangular) ones, and considering their rather fragile nature, this must be taken into account when figuring cost of ownership. Would still recommend.
