Busy Bee Tools is Canada’s leading retailer for high-quality tools, machinery, and equipment, serving both professionals and hobbyists. With a robust ecommerce presence and nine retail locations, we are seeking a skilled Shopify Plus & Marketplace Specialist with proven experience scaling Shopify Plus stores and driving revenue growth across third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to take ownership of our ecommerce strategy, optimize customer retention through Klaviyo, and expand our presence on major third party platforms.

Position Overview:

The Ecommerce Growth Manager will be responsible for scaling our Shopify Plus store, developing and executing strategies to increase sales, managing our presence on third-party marketplaces and overseeing our graphics and marketing team. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, digital marketing, and 3rd party market place sales, with a track record of driving significant revenue growth. Reporting directly to the executive team, this role will require strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve aggressive growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Plus Strategy and Growth

  • Lead the management and optimization of our Shopify Plus store, ensuring exceptional performance, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Drive site traffic and sales through data-driven decisions, implementing advanced CRO (conversion rate optimization) strategies.
  • Oversee the Shopify Plus ecosystem, including integrations, apps, and customizations to enhance functionality and performance.

Klaviyo and Customer Retention

  • Develop and execute advanced email marketing strategies using Klaviyo, including

automated flows, customer segmentation, and personalized campaigns.

  • Leverage Klaviyo insights to create targeted retention strategies that increase customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Optimize SMS and email marketing to nurture leads and convert customers.

Third-Party Marketplace Expansion

  • Manage and grow sales across third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.
  • Optimize product listings, manage account health, and implement strategies to drive sales and visibility on each platform.
  • Monitor marketplace trends, analyze performance, and recommend improvements to

maximize revenue.

Ecommerce and Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with external digital ad agencies to optimize PPC campaigns and drive ecommerce growth.
  • Collaborate with the graphics team to create high-quality, on-brand marketing assets for digital and marketplace channels.
  • Develop promotional strategies for the Shopify Plus store and marketplaces, aligning efforts across teams to maximize impact.

Data Analytics and Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze ecommerce KPIs, including conversion rates, customer retention, and sales performance.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Klaviyo insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize the customer journey.
  • Provide detailed performance reports and actionable insights to the executive team.

Ecommerce and Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with external digital ad agencies to optimize PPC campaigns and drive ecommerce growth.
  • Oversee the marketing and graphics department's day-to-day operations, ensuring high[1]quality execution of website banners, product videos, packaging designs, and social media content.
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop engaging visual and multimedia content that aligns with brand identity and supports ecommerce and marketplace initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency across all digital assets, including product listings, promotional materials, and branded content.
  • Develop promotional strategies for the Shopify Plus store and marketplaces, aligning efforts across teams to maximize impact.

Qualifications:

Ecommerce Expertise

  • Proven track record of scaling Shopify Plus stores with measurable success in revenue and traffic growth.
  • Deep expertise in Klaviyo for email marketing, retention strategies, and customer segmentation.
  • Strong understanding of third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, eBay) and experience driving sales on these platforms.

Marketing and Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and PPC campaigns.
  • Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Tableau for data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of CRO strategies and ecommerce best practices to improve site performance and user experience.

Professional Skills
