If you do not wish to receive mailings from us, please notify us either by phone, e-mail or by mail at the address above. We do not sell, share or distribute your name & address, period.

If you provide us with your phone or fax numbers, we may contact you at a given time to discuss a pending order, or a particular issue. We do not sell, share or distribute your phone or fax numbers, period.

E-Mail Address
If you provide us with your e-mail address, you may receive e-mail notifications of either information about a pending order or about current specials we have going at that time. We do not sell, share or distribute your e-mail address to anyone, period. Busy Bee Tools will NEVER send you an email requesting you to validate your credit card number. If you do receive an email that appears to come from Busy Bee Tools and has this type of information, please email us at busybee@busybeetools.com immediately and delete the e-mail right away.

At Busy Bee Tools, we want to make your experience on our web site as enjoyable as possible. We use “cookies” to help keep track of your choices and selections on our web site, so that it can give you the most enjoyable and smoothest shopping experience possible. A “cookie” is a small text file saved to your computer which helps identify progress made on e-commerce web sites. We do not sell, share or distribute this information, period.
From time to time, we may collect other automatic information about your use of our Site such as geographical location, time of visit, browser type, operating system and IP address in efforts to research and provide our customers with better online services. Shop Pay & Shop App 
Important: Shop Pay and the Shop App are third-party services owned and operated entirely by Shopify, the company that provides the technology behind our online store. Busy Bee Tools does not build, control, configure, or manage Shop Pay or the Shop App in any way, and we cannot alter how they behave, what they display, or when they contact you. This section explains how they work so you can make informed choices, but any settings, opt-outs, or support needs related to Shop Pay or the Shop App itself are handled by Shopify directly, not by Busy Bee Tools.

How it works: At checkout, you may be given the option, presented by Shopify, to save your shipping and payment information (including credit card details) with Shop Pay so that future purchases — with us or with any other store that accepts Shop Pay — can be completed more quickly. If you choose to save your information, it is encrypted and stored directly by Shopify's Shop Pay system, not on Busy Bee Tools' servers, and not under our control. We do not see, collect, sell, share, or distribute any payment details you save through Shop Pay, period.

Benefits: Saved information allows for one-click checkout on future orders, order tracking through the Shop App, and shipment notifications — without needing to re-enter your card details or address each time.

When information may be saved: Shop Pay may prompt you to save your details at checkout if you enter a phone number or email associated with a Shop Pay account, or if you actively opt in when prompted. This can happen whether or not you create a Busy Bee Tools account. Because this prompt is generated and controlled entirely by Shopify's checkout system, Busy Bee Tools has no ability to turn it off, customize it, or prevent it from appearing.

Shop-branded emails: After a purchase, some customers receive an email from "Shop" (Shopify) inviting them to "finish checkout," view their order, or download the Shop App. This email is generated automatically by Shopify's own systems whenever an order is placed through a Shopify-powered store, and it can occur even when your order has already been completed successfully — it does not mean anything further is owed or that any action is required. These emails come directly from Shopify, not from Busy Bee Tools, and we do not request, trigger, or control their content or timing.

How to opt out: You are never required to save your information with Shop Pay, and you are never required to use the Shop App. You can decline the save-my-info prompt at checkout and enter your details manually each time; manage, edit, or delete saved payment methods anytime by logging into your account at shop.app or through the Shop App; or contact Shopify support directly for questions about data stored in your Shop Pay account, since Busy Bee Tools does not have access to, or control over this information. To opt out of Shop-branded emails specifically, use the unsubscribe link included in the Shop email itself, or manage your communication preferences through your Shop account at shop.app. Because these emails originate from Shopify's systems rather than ours, Busy Bee Tools is unable to unsubscribe you from them on your behalf.

Security: Shop Pay is PCI-DSS compliant and uses encryption to protect stored payment data. As with all online transactions, no system can guarantee 100% security, but Shopify maintains its own security and privacy practices independent of, and outside the control of, Busy Bee Tools. Shop Pay and the Shop App are third-party tools operated by Shopify. Busy Bee Tools integrates with them to provide checkout services, but we do not control, and are not responsible for, how they collect, store, display, or communicate information to you. This section is provided to help you understand that relationship and the options available to you directly through Shopify.

Limitations
While we strive to provide a fully secure and safe, no data transmission over the internet can be 100% secure. We will do our best to protect your personal information but we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit over our Site. We may change, or alter our privacy policy at any time without notice.
