The new Craftex CX Series CX214 Cabinet Saw with Extension Table is a premium & heavy duty machine. Available in 50" rail fence with extension or without extension table & 30" fence (model # CX213), this saw is loaded with features making it a true contender among heavy duty 3HP table saws.
Starting with the inner working of this saw, you'll find a newly designed, industrial cast iron trunnion system that is mounted to the cabinet. A powerful 3HP TEFC motor will tackle any wood you put through it and the heavy gauge cabinet stand will more than stand the test of time in any workshop.

4 Stars for the table saw itself. 1 Star for customer service and shipping. Ok, well Ive only made a few cuts with the CX214 so far but so far so good. I bought this saw to replace my CX204 which was absolute garbage and I was a little reluctant to purchase another Craftex model but decided to give them a second chance. Im a custom kitchen cabinet maker and this saw will get used for several hours everyday so lets break down would I think about it so far. The manual could use some improvement but I've setup many saws in the past so this really wasn't a huge issue for me. The leveling feet and leveling casters are a good idea but the casters are fixed and do not have any adjustment to them. I ended up bolting my own HD leveling feet to the unit which can be adjusted from above using a simple screwdriver...makes life real easy. The extension table legs and leveling feet are ok for getting things setup but I would recommend that you build a support wall between after setup if possible. My saw will never leave the spot its at so this is not an issue for me. I also secure the saw to my large (6' x 12') outfeed table as well. Now the fence...the front angle iron and beam are very HD but the back angle iron is a joke. The fence itself is nice and glides back and forth smoothly but could be 6" longer. I did have to do some minor adjustments to square the fence to the blade but that is very easy to do. I use a Wixey digital fence readout but the tape readout provided with the saw looks to be very accurate and easy to read. First start Im looking for blade wobble....there is none. My old CX204 had a severe wobble. but this one looks good to go. Raising and lowering the blade is smooth and I hope it stays that way, my CX204 lasted about a month before the worm gears went for the first time so lets keep our fingers crossed for this one. As I said, I only made a few cuts so far but Im liking it. The plastic motor cover is a bit of a joke...I would like to see a metal cover that is hinged. I would have also liked to see a bit of an upgrade to the hand wheels and especially the lock nuts. Its way to early for me to comment on the dust collection but it looks ok. Overall the saw looks sexy as hell and my initial cuts were impressive now only time will tell if this saw has a place in my shop.

love this saw. No vibration, excellent duct collection, great fence and the 52" cut capacity is great even though I make very few rip cuts this big, having that extra table room gives a catch area for wood pieces, tape measure etc.You won't regret buying this saw. Only negative is the usual, lousy manual.
