Ideal for mitre joints and picture framing
I picked up some right angle clamps at Canadian Tire that cost $25 each...One broke soon after getting it and the other a year later. These ones are not the greatest quality : -the little handle are uncomfortable to tighten -the metal frame is extremely light -the screw is poorly constructied BUT these clamps have two redeeming features: 1. They are actually 90 degrees dead on. 2. They arent' the greatest quality, but they are a darn sight cheaper than other right angle clamps I've bought. In short, you are getting what you pay for.
I purchased two of these after framing some pictures freehand (no clamps). Since buying them I have used them while building a number of projects (mostly boxes). They greatly simplify holding boards (etc.) square while pilots holes are drilled, then secured with screws or brad nails. I like them enough that I will be buying another pair. Light weight and compact, 5-stars.
