CXHEPA2 CANISTER FOR 2HP & 3HP DUST COLLECT
This canister replacement is designed to fit 2HP and 3HP dust collectors. It will fit all Craftex 2HP, 3HP models, and can also be retrofitted to most other dust collector brands on the market.
This canister filter features a V-Weave design increasing filtering area over 6 times when compared to standard cloth bags. The high performance Hepa Canister will filter out 99.6% of dust particles 0.3 to 0.5 micron and 100% of all dust particles 1 micron and larger to help keep that harmful particles out of the air you breath. CXHEPA features more advanced filtration compared to your traditional canisters that aren't Hepa certified.
Another health advantage Hepa canister filter is the disposal of the dust. Standard bags require you to take off the bag, turn upside down and shake out the dust sending thousands of fine dust particles in to the air you breathe. With Hepa Canister, simply turn the handle located at the top of the canister to rotate the internal flapper. The flapper removes dust particles and shakes of caked on dust into the lower bag of your dust collector. Dust disposal is now safe and no longer a chore with this high performance Hepa canister.
CFM (Cubic feet per minute) is the amount of air the dust collector moves through itself per minute and depends on factors like the size of the motor and size of the impeller. Since there is less air resistance when using a Hepa canister filter the CFM will increase compared to standard dust collectors.

CX Hepa Cannister filters
This is my third CX-hepa filter. I have wood dust sensitivity and the CX-hepa filter is a necessity reducing the frequency that I have to clean or replace the filters in my air scrubbers. I upgraded to a larger dust collector and needed a larger filter for the larger sized unit. I have wood dust sensitivity and the CX-hepa filter is a necessity reducing the freqency that I have to clean or replace the filters in my air scrubbers. The CX-hepamini and the 1 hp CX-hepa fit the off brand dust collectors without any modification to the dust collector or filter base. This cannister filter was 1/2" smaller in diameter than the King dust collector drum. There wasn't another option. I was able to get this cannister to fit using a heat gun, some prying force, and relocating the latching lever on the band clamp. Despite this extra fiddling, I would purchase this unit again.

Fit my 20 year old 2 HP dust collecter perfectly. The original bag always leaked a small amout of dust. The canister seals perfectly, no dust leakage!! dust.

I installed it on my 1-1/2 HP KING Dust extractor, it fit perfectly. It increased the suction twofold from the fabric bag. I was a little disappointed to see that the paddle inside did not scrape the entire insides (1/3 only). However it’s scraping a
