SHOP FOX MOBILE BASE 1300LB CAP D2058A
These are really excellent. We were very happy with our original order and decided to order more for additional locations. Also used to replace one competitor's unit that collapsed under one of our table saws. Making our fab shops much more flexible.

Too expensive given the quality
I had to drill and tap holes just like the other reviewer did. Wouldn't mind so much but this base is actually kind of pricey for what it is.

Does the job with my Powermatic 18" bandsaw
I had problems with the lock bolds which extend upward through the frame. I drilled and tapped them to the next highest (non-metric) size and used grub screws to gain the clearance. The grub screws (socket head screws) look way better and since they are one size bigger, should be fine. But it was several hours of messing around to fix that issue. Using the bandsaw with the mobile base is a breeze now. I am happy with the stability of the mobile base in the locked position. If Shop Fox could look at their choice of fasteners, and spend a little more for the better hardware, this product could more easily.
