Description
This Air Cleaner features a powerful 1/6 HP motor making it an ideal solution for smaller shops. The CX425 has 3 speeds giving you different levels of air flow. The air cleaner filters the air first with the 5-micron primary filter and then with the 1-micron secondary filter keeping it clean and free of dust. Comes with four eye bolts which allow for easy mounting. Once mounted and hanging from the ceiling you can control the operation, duration, and speed with the convenient remote control up to 40 feet away from the unit. Like all CX-Series machines this unit features a full 3-year warranty.

Good fan
It’s fairly heavy, so mounting it on my basement ceiling was a bit difficult - having two people with two stepladders would have made it easier. The time delay is great as it keeps circulating and cleaning the air after you are done. The mounting system (chains) is good and stops vibration in the room above.

After a few weeks, ssems to be a very good unit for ma 20x20 basement shop. I keep it most of the time a min level. I cam readily see larger dust particles captured on the external filter. Noise level is ok. Remote works very well. I like the timer shut off.

Good but not perfect
Reasonably nice filter for the price. Mounting points are off center and the weight of the unit is unbalanced, so getting it to hang level was a bit of challenge. Seems to work okay, and while certainly not silent, it isn't too loud. Happy with the unit for the (sale) price I picked it up for.

So glad that I purchased this product. Works very well, comes with all of the hardware for hanging and great remote. Doing some work with dark walnut right now and it’s surprising how much dust is caught by the filter. I have a very small shop and always wear a dust mask but this is a very nice addition. I was worried about noise and creating a breeze in my small shop but this unit is very quiet. Very glad I purchased this unit and it was on sale at the time.
