Great Machine with possible motor issues
Ok, my first review was not posted. Guess it was too honest. Lets try again. The machine is great. The motor has some issues which I have read exists with other machines made by the same manufacturer. BB said to bring in the motor and they will replace it. That is the good news. The bad, I have to remove and haul it to them. NOT HAPPY about having to do this less than a month into ownership. Also, I would need to bring in someone to remove the motor then have them back to reinstall as I am not sure how to do this. Oh well. Lets see if it solves the problem. BTW also bought a CX400 (review published), last week bought a CX200. Will write a review soon. Hope BB doesn't ignore a good customer like me. (Admin - first review was on hold as it had links to competitor web sites, thanks for posting again)

Nice machine
bought this online and picked up at the barrie store. packaged well and fit & finish are good. i have put about 50 hrs only on this but so far ive been very pleased with the overall performance. thank you

Could not be happier!
Searched for a jointer for a long time before buying this unit. Considered first a General Int. 80-200L and also looked at the King KC-80FX. The CX08 from Busy Bee appeared to have better fit and finish and I liked the included mobile base and top mounted switch. On top of that, the CX08 was much lower in price so opted to buy it and so far I am very happy with my decision. Right out of the box, I noticed the fit and finish was great. The paint job looked awesome and the cast iron table and fence were finished without any knicks. The manual was decent enough (could have been a bit beefier though) but everything went together like clockwork and there were no missing parts or problems. First cuts went great but did notice that there was some small vibration at start up and when I tuned off. During operation the jointer passes the nickel test with flying colours though. I since added link belt and is much better. Overall, I like the fence design, mobile base work great and the jointer cuts great. Kudos on the new CX Series Busy Bee, so far I am very happy and a good review is deserved!
