The Craftex CX-Series CX307 is a heavy-duty woodworking shaper designed for profiling edges, cutting mouldings, raising panels, and completing a wide range of shaping operations. Its 2.5HP, 220V single-phase motor provides the power needed for demanding shop work, while selectable spindle speeds of 8,000 and 10,000 RPM allow the machine to accommodate different cutters and applications.

The cast iron table measures 28" wide by 22" deep and expands to 28" wide by 30" deep with the extension table installed. This substantial work surface provides stable support for larger stock. Two independently adjustable 9-1/2" x 2-3/4" wooden fences make it easier to position work accurately for different shaping setups.

A forward, off, and reverse switch allows the spindle direction to be changed to suit the operation. The spindle height adjustment handwheel, locking knob, spindle height scale, and 4" of spindle travel provide controlled setup and repeatable adjustments.
