Designed for fabrication shops and serious metalworkers, the CX818N provides the flexibility to produce boxes, pans, channels, and straight bends. Its 48" removable nose bar and 16 removable fingers allow the clamping width to be configured for a range of forming applications.
A large counterbalanced handle reduces operating effort and supports continuous bending beyond 90 degrees up to a maximum of 135 degrees. The welded steel frame provides the rigidity needed for consistent results during light production and custom fabrication work.

FAQ
What is the maximum bending width of the CX818N?
The brake can bend sheet metal up to 48" wide.
What thickness of mild steel can it bend?
It can bend 18-gauge mild steel across the full 48" width and 16-gauge mild steel at half width.
Can this brake be used to make boxes and pans?
Yes. The removable fingers can be arranged to provide clearance for forming boxes, pans, channels, and other multi-sided parts.
How many removable fingers are included?
The CX818N includes 16 removable fingers in a combination of 2", 3", and 4" widths.
What is the maximum bend angle?
The brake can perform bends beyond 90 degrees up to a maximum of 135 degrees.
What does the counterbalanced handle do?
The counterbalanced handle helps reduce the effort required to operate the brake, making repeated bending operations easier.
Is a stand included?
No. The optional CX818ST stand is available separately.
Is this machine suitable for straight bends?
Yes. In addition to box-and-pan forming, the brake can be configured for straight bends using its removable nose bar and fingers.
