The Laguna Tools 37" Wide Belt Sander combines a 10 HP sanding motor, 36-1/2" maximum sanding width, combination drum-and-platen head, dual conveyor speeds, and automatic thickness setting for dimensioning and finish sanding in woodworking shops.

Designed to bring wide belt sanding capability to smaller woodworking shops, this Laguna machine uses a 37" x 60" sanding belt and a single combination head that allows sanding with the drum, the platen, or both together. The longer 60" abrasive belt provides more sanding surface and helps the belt run cooler during operation.

A powerful 10 HP main motor gives the machine the capacity to handle wide workpieces and perform dimensioning operations in addition to finish sanding. For heavier stock removal and dimensioning, the supplied information recommends aggressive 60- or 80-grit abrasive belts.

The heavy-duty carpet conveyor is powered by a separate 1 HP motor and offers two feed speeds of 15 and 49 feet per minute.
