The chuck will work eventually. I had difficulty removing jaws and had to hone them and the chuck to make them work and to break the very sharp edges
Busy Bee takes payment immediately when order is placed. Processing is a week or so later but there is no notification as to delivery

Decent
Much better than I expected for the price. Was a bit dinged on top but that probably happened during shipping. I am pleased overall.

Good value check, bad QC
As per the previous reviews, this is a great little 4 jaw for the money. The provision of two sets of jaws with the stepped side ground concave and convex is very nice. Unfortunately mine hadn't been greased properly and was actually dripping rusty water when I disassembled it. Substantial corrosion on the slides for the jaws (easily cleaned up) and on the threads (not so easy). This chuck is a good fit for the 3" rotary table if you are willing to drill through the mounting holes so that you can tighten the bolts from the front.

Works on 7x8 Mini Lathe as well
Just what Gord says above. Had to do trim a couple thou off the inside rim to fit. The mounting bolts don't fit in the clearance between the headstock and the mounting plate, just turn the heads off and use a nut.. Jaw threads are a little stiff, but that's better than sloppy.

Better than expected.
I purchased this to use on my 7x10 Mini Lathe and was told by a sales rep that it may fit but he wasn't sure. After removing the aluminum adapter plate, I was pleased to discover that it fits the spindle perfectly. The chuck is a Soba 80mm Low-Profile 4-Jaw chuck with independent jaws. 2 sets of jaws were included as were some fasteners for securing the chuck to a drill press or T-Slots. As far as quality goes, this chuck is better than I expected for the price. It was well packaged with the usual thick layer of shipping grease covering most surfaces. The jaws are independent and don't move too smoothly though I expect they will loosen up a little with use. Overall, it's a great price and I'm sure this little chuck will get lots of use.
