Somewhat limited
When I first purchased this connector/adapter I assumed (wrongly) that it would fit any and all 4" dmw pvc pipe. Under the right conditions this adapter works well. The narrower end easily accepts 4" flex hose. The broader end one might assume fits over the end of pvc pipe, that assumption would be incorrect. The broad end nests in any pvc hub connection (pipe end, wye, 45° elbow, etc.). This setup is ideal for terminating a pvc run and connecting a short hose run to a tool. Knowing this, I need to order a few more...
