Dual Stackable feather board
I bought on from Busy Bee 8 months back so when I saw onsale got another by far these are the safest feather boards for your Router Table. I making 5 inch crown Molding using Maple hardwood. The Bit is 2.5 inches so make two passses . It keeps it tight against the fence And no scary moments,.if you have been using a router table this featherboad #1 in my books. And now with another. No worries period. If you have used a router for some years you will have had a incident you would love to forget. You never have one again with this feather board.. it holds it against and down. So the amount of wood I’m taking out making the Crown Molding this makes 100 percent safe. You won’t be . For Sale Router for sale hardly used .. they probably had the scare of there life (I have) because the feather board had it against but not holding down. So when it flipped. . It won’t ever happen again with this featherboard. No issues again . Router is a amazing tool. But can be one of the scariest . Not with this feather board. And thanks to Busy Bee sale . I have 2 so I can cover indeed and out feed. And the boards come out beautiful. So far 40 feet of 5 inch wide Crown Molding wish could insert picture of the Molding Won’t allow . great fit and great value
The FeatherPro fits snugly on my DeWalt DWE7480 which has a very short infeed table. I have tried different featherboards but the angle of the feathers means that you have to distance the miter slot clamps couple inches further from the blade. The FeatherPro FeatherDuo has the foam fingers which has much better grip than plastic or wood fingers. I'm all for technology and I believe that the FeatherPro has what it takes to save my fingers.
