Very good and bright, but could use a little stronger magnet.

decent little lamp
Was hesistant after reading the review that was on the site but this lamp is prefer and has given me zero issue. magnet is strong enough for what I use it for and its bright.

don't bother
I was hoping this would be similar to the large plug in magnetic base lamp also sold by busybee but it is not. This one is useless. It uses coin batteries (3x LR44 IIRC) so it doesn't last very long, nor is it really a bright enough light to be used as a work light. The batteries are hard and finnicky to install I almost broke it installing them as it's unclear where you unscrew the base (I dissassembled the switch rather than getting at the batteries the first time). Worst is that the flex doesn't stay flexed in the correct direction very well. I bought this to use on my sander to aim right on the belt at the work because the sander is in a darker area of my shop. But the light is too dim and the thing doesn't stay directed at where I want it. Also since it is so dim you don't notice if you forgot that it was on so then the batteries are dead. I recommend the expensive plug in magnetic base lamp instead.
