Mini-Mite 3 Spray System HVLP - FUJI SPRAY

The Mini-Mite 3 (MM3) system with Gravity Gun includes the GXPC Spray Gun featuring a Pattern Control Knob to adjust the fan size from small to large. Fuji installs the same powerful 3-stage Turbine motor as used in Q3 Models. The MM3 does not have the patented noise-reduction feature as seen on the Fuji Q-Models, however the noise level is no more than any other standard HVLP Turbine. The MM3 Turbine develops approximately 6psi. This is more than enough pressure to spray all known coatings (when properly thinned) and all the newer water-based coatings. The Spray Gun included with this package is the GXPC Gravity with 400cc pivoting Cup. The standard Air Cap set #4 (1.4 mm) is for the use of general purpose fine finishing. Easy to maintain. Perfect for professional or beginner. This is an industrial-rated machine at an unbeatable price. Heavy-duty metal case with Gun Holder. Portable and powerful. The system includes the Mini-Mite 3 Turbine, 25ft Hi-Flex hose, GXPC Non-bleed Gravity Spray Gun with 400cc pivoting Cup, viscosity Cup, cleaning brush, wrench and 20 page user manual.

Hose Length: 25 ft

Fuji Spray Mini Mite 3 Platinum GXPC

Posted by Steve Martena on 4th Jan 2021

I recently purchased the Fuji Spray Mini Mite 3 Platinum with the GXPC gun. I've used this system for one project so far. I sprayed some latex primer and some water based urethane modified enamel. While spraying the latex primer had varying results (buy quality paint) the enamel sprayed easily without a learning curve. I sprayed with the default #4 air cap (1.4 mm) and thinned both products. The enamel I thinned around 15% and the latex closer to 20-25%. I was pleased with the system’s ability to atomize the enamel excellently but struggled to get great atomization with the latex (most likely due to my own inexperience at this point, but note that a #5 air cap is recommended for latex and I was using a #4). I added the more flexible whip hose to my system, which I can’t recommend enough as the primary hose is not sufficiently flexible to make the spraying easy. The primary reason I sought an HVLP system is actually for ease of cleanup and I was not disappointed. Overall, for any hobbyist, this system is ideal and you won’t be disappointed.
