Description

iVac Switch

The iVac automatically turns your dust collection system on as soon as your
power tool is turned on. A great tool that can save time and make your shop a
safer place to work in.
This tool is intended to be used in conjunction with a dust collection, or
vacuum system and an associated power tool. The power tool can range from a
high power table saw, down to a low power mini drill. In fact most power tools
that generate dust.

Other Features Include
Designed for Continuous Operation.
Compact and lightweight and can be wall mounted.
Extends the life of your vacuum system.
ETL Safety Approval
Three Modes of Operation (Auto - Off - On)
Turn On Delay
This is the time delay from when the power tool is turned on to when
the vacuum is turned on.
When a tool or vacuum is turned on, there is an initial power surge from
the AC mains.
By means of the delay, it avoids the two power surges occurring at the same
time and causing the AC mains circuit breaker to trip.
Turn Off Delay
The Turn Off delay of 6 seconds ensures that your work area continues to be
cleared of remaining airborne debris even after the tool has stopped.
Two Input power cords
To permit operation from two separately protected AC mains circuits, when the
combined power from the tool and the vacuum exceed 15 Amps.
Power Cord Protection
Both power cords are individually protected with 15 Amp circuit breakers.
Specifications
- The iVac Switch Box is designed to operate from one or
two 15 Amp AC mains circuits.
- The maximum AC current to the tool should not exceed 12 Amps.
- Turn On Delay (In Auto Mode.) 0.5 seconds to 2.0 seconds.
- Turn Off Delay (In Auto Mode.) Approximately 6.0 seconds.

It works great! No more turning the dust collector on and off separately. I turn on my tool and 1 sec later, my dust collector comes on. I turn off my too, and 6 seconds the dust collector shuts off. Awesome! I haven't had to plug it into 2 separate circuits yet, but it's nice to have the option if I need it later. About half the price of a programmable one, but the fixed delays are perfectly fine for me. The button is sealed so no dust to hurt it. Great investment! I highly recommend it!

    I Vac Switch

When I set up a shop vac dust collection system I had a terrible habit of forgetting to turn on the vac, thus negating the entire purpose of having a dust collection system. The I Vac switch does exactly what I wanted, which is to turn on the system as soon as I turn on the tool that would otherwise make a mess. I am in a small shop with only 15 amp power, so the ability to utilize 2 separate circuits means that there is little chance of blowing a breaker when a tool bogs down. I like it a lot.
