Equipped with a 3/4 HP motor, this 14" x 43" wood lathe can swing 14" over bed and features variable spindle speed ranges from 600 to 2400 RPM. The 43" distance between the centers and the variable speed gives you the flexibility for any project and the solid cant iron bed construction dampens any stock vibration, resulting in greater precision.
Other features of the CX803 include a digital RPM display, MT2 spindle table, 6" face plate, cast iron stand and cast iron tailstock.

CX803 Review
I bought this lathe as an upgrade from a cheap old lathe. Out of the box, the headstock and tailstock lined up perfectly. Everything (from the banjo adjustment to the headstock swivel adjustment) is tight and easy to maneuver. The heavy stand makes roughing out blanks a breeze. Although the lowest speed is 600 rpm, that is slow enough for comfort (I always use fairly balanced blanks, mind you). Overall, I think the CX803 is exceptional value for someone looking to turn lots of small to large(ish) pieces without breaking the bank on a heavy duty 18" lathe.
