Description
This canister replacement is designed to fit 1HP dust collectors.
It will fit all Craftex and Craftex CX Series model, new and old as well as most major 1HP brands in the market with a 14.5” diameter.
This canister features a V-Weave filter design and filtering area is increased over 6 times when compared to standard cloth bags.
Another plus to the canister filter is the disposal of dust. Standard bags require you to take off the bag, turn upside down and shake out the dust sending thousands of fine dust particles airborne. With the Canister, simply turn the handle located at the top of the canister to rotate the internal flapper. The flapper removes dust particles and shakes of caked on dust into the lower bag of your dust collector. Dust disposal is now safe, and no longer a chore with this 1 micron canister.
CFM (Cubic feet per minute) is the amount of air the dust collector moves
through itself per minute and depends on factors like the size of the motor
and size of the impeller. Because there is less air resistance with the use
of a canister filter, the CFM increases compared to standard dust collectors.

Great upgrade to your dust collector
Really improves the performance of the dust collector. As advertised CFM are increased because there is less resistance than the cloth bag. I my experience the suctions is on par with my shop vac. More dust was removed from the drum sander, sandpaper stayed cleaner less likely to clog and burn the piece. They should skip the bag and sell all dust collectors with the canister filter!

Nice upgrade
I've had my 1hp Busy Bee Dust collector for 20+ years. The motor is going strong but i felt the dust collection was less than at its prime. .I was looking at new bags or this canister filter. Canister reviews were strong and correct. It fits tightly (desired) and took a few tries to get it seated but this filter make a wonderful positive difference

Awesome filter
Fits like a glove on my ShopFox W1727. Put a little paraffin wax to aid in slipping over the rim as tight fit. Tested and real good suction from the dust collector. Very pleased.

Works good. Seems to contain more dust than the cloth bag it replaced. I like the pleat fins for knocking dust down when it comes time to change the bag. Good quality product.

Great fit
Tried fitting this on without lubricant and it was just impossible. With silicone lubricant it snaps on perfectly, super tight, and works really well.

Unlike some reviewers, mine sealed very tight, not a trace of a leak. But it's a tight fit. So (a) use generous amounts of rubber-friendly lubricant on both the rubber seal and the metal lip, and (b) when it does seat, it does so with a positive "pop" - no gaps from the metal, and sits straight.
