This canister replacement is designed to fit 1HP dust collectors.
It will fit all Craftex and Craftex CX Series model, new and old as well as most major 1HP brands in the market with a 14.5” diameter.
This canister features a V-Weave filter design and filtering area is increased over 6 times when compared to standard cloth bags.
Another plus to the canister filter is the disposal of dust. Standard bags require you to take off the bag, turn upside down and shake out the dust sending thousands of fine dust particles airborne. With the Canister, simply turn the handle located at the top of the canister to rotate the internal flapper. The flapper removes dust particles and shakes of caked on dust into the lower bag of your dust collector. Dust disposal is now safe, and no longer a chore with this 1 micron canister.
CFM (Cubic feet per minute) is the amount of air the dust collector moves
through itself per minute and depends on factors like the size of the motor
and size of the impeller. Because there is less air resistance with the use
of a canister filter, the CFM increases compared to standard dust collectors.

Works great
I've put it on my CT029N. Put some sliding compound on he last bit of rubber seal to get it over the lip of the "canister". I disconnected the canister from the blower and support bracket so I could see if the lip was seated properly in the groove of the rubber seal. No air leaks at all.

Noticeably more suction
Added this to my CT029N and immediately noticed a big increase in air movement. Getting it seated on the dust collector took a little elbow grease, but it was well worth it.

More dust in air tan in filter
There is no seal between the bottom of the filter and the rubber. This causes the air to escape between the out side of the filter and rubber blowing dust every where. There is more dust in the air than in the filter. Total waste of money. Stay with the bags.

added this to my 1HP General dust collector and itd made a big difference. your price was much cheaper than everywhere else i checked as well!
