Sturdy Stand
This stand is very sturdy and is constructed from quality materials. I use them not only for my Dewalt planer but also for my Ridgid Spindle sander and for my router table. They make excellent portable stands for any tool.

Planer stand
Brake is difficult to reach I would have engineered it to mount outside the stand.

Planer Stand by DeWalt
Very sturdy, well constructed unit. East to move around, yet very stable when pivot wheel is disengaged. Does not take up much room. Good addition to my workshop.

Dewalt Mobile Planer Stand
Tried other stands and returned them. Should have gotten this one in the first place. It is extremely well built and frankly for what it is, it exudes quality. Took a half hour to put together. It is extremely robust, yet rolls smoothly and the wheel lock is very simple. You have the option of putting the locking caster inside or outside the frame but I found once you install the included shelf it is very difficult to activate the brake if you've put it inside the frame so had to move it outside. It seems like this stand could hold ten times the weight of the DW735 planer. It is a little expensive but in this case I'd say it's worth the money.

Exceptional
The assembly was relatively quick with good instructions. The planer fit and was easily attached to the pre drilled and labeled holes. It is easily moved around the shop. The internal wheel assembly requires you to engage the wheel from the side of you use your foot. I have not planed thick or heavy live edge yet but I don’t foresee a problem. The height for feeding is ideal. I highly recommend the product. I wish I had it years ago.

A super heavy duty stand. Rolls easily on a concrete floor, and is rock steady when locked in place.
